Time Commitment
Usually the minimum time commitment for volunteers is one month, as it is costly for us to train and provide services for new volunteers. However, some of our volunteers can only stay for a few weeks, and as we understand that people may be time limited we do accept shorter stays (minimum ten days) on a person by person basis.
Above this, volunteers can stay at Eco Truly for as long as they wish. To get the most out of their experience, we estimate interns will want to commit themselves to volunteering for at least 4 hours per day. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join us - the only requirement is that you are enthusiastic about working with our community.
You could work in the following activities:
- - Maintenance and cleaning
- - Teaching yoga
- - Transportation
- - Construction
- - Biohuerto
- - Gardening
- - Cooking, baking and making pastry
Our basic accommodations are separate shared rooms for men and women. If you would prefer a separate, individual room in our hostel, we can provide that service for a slight cost.
